Vancouver Mountain Ride
Well. We splurged. 4 seats for 80.00 each was steep but we figured driving through the montains all day to catch a few glimpses of mountain scenery was too much to bear. So we had some fun. Clint, our pilot was your typical Canadian back country pilot making remarks like "keep your fingers crossed" and "hope the wind shear is low today". whew... no close calls after I asked him to give us some serious "g"'s. Heck if I was gonna tip someone for making the flight safely, I would've...or should've I ?
BTW, further rationalization to justify the trip. Safety. Figured Canadian pilots in the sky were much safer than the number of Canadian drivers in the montains. Also, time was a factor. We were in the air for 2 hours including the stop at a mountain lake. A car trip would've made it a whole day effort.
